How to make a post sticky in wordpress ?

A sticky post is one that stays on top of every post (On the Homepage). Especially the contest posts are made sticky to gain the maximum number of participants. Until the wordpress plugin “WP – Sticky” was created, many people used to change the published date to some future date to make the post sticky. But now, with the help of the plugin, making a post sticky is damn easy….

So, How to make a post sticky in WordPress ?

Very simple … Just basic knowledge of installing a plugin is required.

  • Download the WP – Sticky wordpress plugin.
  • Install and activate it.
  • Now open the post which you want to be sticky.
  • From the “Publish” block (situated at the top right) click on edit beside visibility option.

  • Check the box which says “Stick this post to the front page”
  • Click OK and hit publish.

(In case you’re making a published post sticky, you need to hit “update” instead of publish button)

I have been using a Sticky Post to Avoid Smart Pricing from Adsense when you have a new post on your Blog the CPC is not Good this is where a Sticky Post will help

That’s the way to show important entry…
Sometimes if advertiser want their entry at homepage using sticky note is the best way..
