In this article I am going to show you how to enable moderation in comments?I have illustrated in simple way understandable by readers.
What is moderation in comments?
Moderation means approving comments before they are published on the blog post.Moderation can prevent spam comments.
Enable moderation in comments:
- Sign in to your blog account
- Dashboard appears on successful login
- Go to Settings->Comments (4th option from left)
- Now scroll down till you see “Comment moderation”
- Select your desired choice.
- If you select “Always“ moderation will be done everytime
- If you select “Only on posts older than specified number of days” Moderation will be done after the specified number of days.
For Example: If you select 2 days then comment moderation for a particular post will be enabled after 2 days it was published.
- If you select “Never” moderation will be off and you will not be able to moderate any comments.
Remember:You can moderate comments only if the comments section is the default provided by blogger.If you are using other comment boxes then you will not able to do moderations from blogger.
After that Click on “Save Settings”
